War Incorporated is commited to providing a fun and friendly gaming environment. To allow for more time spent playing, and less time spent debating, please follow the guidelines below. You may overrule these if your opponent agrees, in advance of the game.
Please make sure you have everything you need to play, that your army list is written down (or viewable on an iPad or equivalent e-reader). Army lists can be altered before play, but must not exceed the agreed points limit for the game.
You must let your opponent view you army list if requested - it's polite to offer it to them to read before the game.
We encourage you to bring WYSIWYG armies (e.g. models accurately display wargear as appropriate, and are the correct model for the unit). Please point out any exceptions/non WYSIWYG models to your opponent before the game.
Any options from the codex or army book, provided they follow the rules in the book, are permitted, including special characters.
In general, imperial armour/warhammer forge models/units may be used if you get your opponents consent in advance. If these models represent a normal codex unit, and the WYSIWYG guidelines above are followed, prior consent is not needed.
While we strongly encourage it, you don't need painted armies to play, but models should at least be fully assembled.
The game turn you commence nearest to 10pm should be the last game turn you play. The organisers all work during the week, and need to close the doors at 10:30pm.
